Brachioplasty - Arm Lift Surgery

Brachioplasty is a technique that involves excess skin and fatty tissues being removed from the upper arm areas commonly known as an arm lift.

Undissolvable stitches are removed after seven days; all others will be self absorbing.

Some surgeons who practise Brachioplasty may prescribe a compression garment, which allows the skin to adhere to the underlying tissues.

The removal of too much fat and skin.

Hematoma when the accumulation of blood lies underneath the skin and will not drain.

Pulmonary Embolism - this occurs if the nerve has too much compression during the surgery.

Skin may die along the incision line and may need to skin graphed.
