There will be stitches; these are usually removed around seven to twelve days.
Swelling
When the bandages are removed there will be some swelling, this will go down with in the following two weeks.

Within two to three days you will be able to go back to you lifestyle, women who have long hair can hide all signs of the procedure a little more difficult to hide in men.

Another procedure that is used when the ear is split, normally caused by earrings, that are too heavy, and stretch the ear lobe, until it splits. This cosmetic procedure is called plastic surgery, and is used to repair the hole by replacing the tissue to the area, and incorporating Stairplasty to avoid the ear lobe splitting again. ,
